We are pleased to share this short documentary about our work with Audubon South Carolina and dedicated community members, produced and directed by Lewis Porche’r and presented by Builders of Our Heritage Community Television!
The documentary highlights our team’s work with Awendaw, McClellanville, and the rural coastal Gullah Geechee Historic Settlement Communities of northeastern Charleston County. The project centered on extensive community engagement and a technical team of Surculus, The Asiko Group, Robinson Design Engineers, and Catalyst to explore nature-based solutions for a range of issues identified by the communities. Thank you to all who collaborated in this important work!
We are thrilled to see our work published in the October Edition of Landscape Architecture Magazine! We’re grateful to the City of Charleston and Biohabitats for the opportunity to collaborate on this important nature-based flood mitigation project! You can learn more about Bridge Pointe Ecological Park in our Portfolio or better yet, visit the park to see the habitat in action!
Surculus was honored with a Merit Award in the Communications Category for our design of the Native Tree Guide for the Town of Sullivan’s Island.
We were honored to celebrate our very first Carolopolis Award for New Construction for the Lowcountry Center for Conservation!
Thrilled to see our work featured in Garden & Gun in celebration of the opening of the Lowcountry Land Trust Center for Conservation.
We loved working with the Lowcountry Land Trust on the all-native conservation-focused landscape plan for their new headquarters and center for regional conservation.
